Bulb Talk : 10.30amThursday 29th September 2016
Matthew Tanton Brown will be giving an informative talk on bulbs on Thursday 29 September, giving advice and tips on choosing and growing of bulbs for containers and naturalising in grass or garden borders.
Tickets bookable in advance costs £12 to include tea or coffee on arrival from 10am.

Autumn Open Weekend : 10am – 5pmSaturday 8th October 2016 - Sunday 9th October 2016
A brilliant weekend suitable for all the family, new gardeners, professionals and keen enthusiasts.
- 10.30am : Trees – planting advice and tour with Rupert Eley and Philip Taylor (Brett Valley Landscape Garden Design)
- 12.30pm : Fruit pruning – Matthew Tanton Brown will be giving advice and demonstrate pruning
- 2.00pm : Clematis Talk – Martin Gibbison will give an informal talk on how to look after and choose clematis
Plus: Children’s trail and other activities (All Day), Display of our latest trees as well as Autumn fruits and leaves, Autumn Quiz – written by Matthew Tanton Brown, Guess the plant
Open Garden in aid of National Garden SchemeSunday 9th October 2016
The garden will be open for the afternoon in aid of the NGS with a chance to see early Autumn colour and Autumn fruits and an opportunity to view the deciduous Euonymus collection which should be looking its best.
Please be warned grass paths can be slippery at this time of year.
