The Place for Plants is a family run specialist plant centre and garden, based at East Bergholt, in the beautiful Stour valley on the Suffolk-Essex border.  The plant centre is open throughout the year and the garden and arboretum are open from March to September.

The garden and arboretum, often referred to as a Cornish garden in Suffolk, cover 20 acres with many unusual trees and shrubs, spring bulbs, topiary and a series of ponds.  The Plant centre, in the spectacular Victorian walled garden, offers a huge range of plants for sale, while the constantly changing plant displays are worth a visit in themselves.
